HOMESCHOOL SKATE
Homeschooling provides flexibility in learning, and we believe it should also provide opportunities for kids to get moving, make friends, socialize, and simply have fun!
That’s why GR Skate & Event Center hosts a special Homeschool Skate every month at our Byron Center location. Held from 1:00–3:00 PM, these sessions are designed specifically for homeschool families to enjoy an affordable afternoon of skating, recreation, and connection with other families in the homeschool community.

During September 2026, GR Skate & Event Center is inviting local schools to host a FREE private school skating party at our facility. Choose a daytime party during the school week or an evening school party—whatever works best for your students, families, and staff.
This is our way of welcoming schools back for another great year while giving students an opportunity to get active, have fun, connect with classmates, and build school spirit outside of the classroom.
The party is FREE during September — you bring your school, and we’ll bring the fun!
